Hello lovely people. For the last three years I’ve been getting my second coaching certification. This one is to be a trauma-informed somatic practitioner. There is a ta***ic approach to s*x, love and relationships which influence all of the tools and techniques I’ve learned.

At just like that it’s all done.

Home safe as is my mama. I’m so blown away by my super human mother. Within the space of 11 days she found out she had a lump, got diagnosed with a brain tumour, had brain surgery, recovered and is already home!!!

What a journey! I’ve had a wonderful time with her, getting closer and discussing a few hard truths. I got to spend time with Dad and watch what an amazing supportive husband he is. I got to explore the neurology ward and watch the fabulous nurses in action. I clocked up 970km on the road, get some sewing in and even managed to briefly catch up with a few friends.

Please don’t expect anything of me over the next couple weeks, I need recovery time.

Thanks everyone for all the outpouring of love and support and to the people that helped me with practical things, like lending me petrol money, cooking me a meal, taking photos of my kitten to help with my pains of missing her, popping over to tidy up my home so I could come home to a cleaner place and so much more. You are so very appreciated 💕💕💕

I’m cutting fabric into strips, as I am about to embark on making my first quilt, and Autumnus hops onto my lap. Okay my love I will pause and pet you for awhile. Feeling so much love for the being that chose me and the perfect time to enter my life.

On the bed is a fabric of the dress I’m wearing to a dance tonight, fabric from bunting I made for a friend’s bday and the pocket of my onsie I was wearing last night. As well as some others I’ve been gathering. So excited! I was inspired by my Aunty Sue’s fabulous quilts and I’ve been binging on quilting vids the last few weeks.

It’s international scrapbooking weekend and historically I’ve put this weekend aside to scrap my heart out. This time I’ve chosen to work with fabric scraps instead, but still having a creative retreat for myself this weekend (including going to a social at the dance studio I’m learning at)

Just a girl and her kitten going for a walk 😍

My life has been so joyous and beautiful the last couple days. Took six kids for a walk yesterday and had people stop me to say how great I am with kids 😍 One woman gave us feijoas and the kids loved eating them. Another woman gave us flowers and the kids held them with such awe as they carried them back for their mamas. Had a catch up with a dear dear friend. And my furry niece. Had help with decluttering the last of my stuff from storage (only two boxes to go now!) Had a date with a delightful man last night and he brought the most gorgeous flowers for me. My kitten adored him too which tells me a lot.

It looks like my next fur baby has been brought into my life. 😍

This wee one was advertised in case it was a missing kitten and people commented that they’ve seen it foraging in rubbish bins. They’re delivering the wee one to me today and I need names.

I’m listening to the Missing Sister on audiobook so I’m ponding Merope if a girl. I don’t like ‘human’ names for my fur babies and usually prefer something that is relevant. I had Calzini and Junkitz as I was studying italiano and scrapbooking a lot when I got my boys. Balance was my word of the year and she was half black, half white.

My focusses at present are slowing down, being in my feminine energy and being creative in a variety of ways.
