🔧🏢 FFP at the 2025 Unified Compliance Conference – Strengthening Standards Across the BWOF Industry! 🏢🔧

Our FFP Building Warrant of Fitness (BWOF) team was proud to attend the Unified Compliance Conference 2025, held 30–31 July at the Millennium Hotel in Auckland.

This groundbreaking event brought together Independently Qualified Persons (IQPs), Territorial Authorities, and industry experts with one shared vision: building a cohesive, standardised compliance framework that keeps our communities safer and our systems stronger.

Congratulations to Scott Construction on completing Nelson’s largest-ever social housing development! We’re proud to have played a role in this milestone project, ensuring fire protection for the 29 new apartments. Well done to everyone involved in delivering this ahead of schedule!

We are proud to announce the successful completion and handover of Nelson’s largest-ever social housing development. This milestone project, comprising 29 high-quality apartments, will provide much-needed housing for individuals and families in urgent need of support.

From the outset, the project presented unique logistical challenges, including the relocation of the historic Heritage Hotel to Upper Moutere and the careful transfer of a large palm tree to its new home on Haven Road. Navigating staged consents, HAIL site considerations, and value engineering required meticulous planning and adaptability from our team. Despite the complexities of working on a main road surrounded by existing homes, Nathan and his team expertly managed the site, ensuring smooth ex*****on and minimal disruption.

Thanks to their dedication and strategic approach, the project was delivered ahead of schedule—an outstanding achievement for all involved.

This development marks a significant contribution to Nelson’s social housing landscape, reinforcing our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions for the community.
