The ACT has taken the extraordinary step of closing 13 public schools today, with several others to be partially closed due to potential asbestos contamination.

Edit: A national recall has now gone out on these products. Worksafe are contacting schools and similar to have it removed. Asbestos Assessors up and down the country are being ask to assist schools. There is currently no evidence in NZ that this product contains asbestos but it is suspected due to some analysis in Australia. These products have been on sale in NZ.

Asbestos continues to creep into the country. Check this article out on Radio New Zealand released today.

People are warned to stop using the product immediately.

Sam is our Ergonomics Assessment Coordinator. Today he has been reviewing our ergonomics assessment checklist that our team will use out on the job, many thanks to Ari. Sam is now applying that checklist to the couch in front of the fire, to ensure it is fit for purpose.
