It was so rewarding to pitch this story to Seven Sharp and see the fantastic result.
Reporter Carolyn Robinson handled the story with great empathy - beautifully highlighting the importance of ship and port welfare officer Pieter Borsje's role as a friendly face and a ready ear for the international seafarers who visit Port Taranaki.
