So just under a year ago I decided to learn about cryptocurrency .. and as a learning tool, I choose to use coinbase as my starting platform, which came from plenty of Google searches and YouTube videos lol.. (but there are heaps of other sites you can chose from.)

So I did the earn and learn vids, all up it came up to around nzd8 in value each, and in 6 or 7 different cryptos..

Then I moved them all to a fiat coin to consolidate the coins and changed them to the cheap coins I thought mite do ok, which i had a value of maybe 50-60 dollars worth.

Keep in mind this cost me absolutely nothing but maybe an 1 or 3 hours of my time. Lol slow learner 😅.

And I used this as my play coins,if I lose it , it cost me nothing but a few hours when I was board. 😒

Here's my coinbase portfolio now, not much like the hype of bitcoin but It was just something I used to get started.. a year on i now use other sites to invest in..

If your looking for a starting point, ask a friend or family member what they use ect.. ask lots of questions, beware of scammers!
