🌿 Oromahoe Marae Grounds Maintenance Opportunity 🌿

Kia ora whanau,

Oromahoe Marae is looking for someone practical and reliable to help care for and maintain the marae grounds.

This is a paid casual position and the work includes:
🚜 Lawn mowing
🌱 W**d eating
🧴 Spraying
🌿 General grounds maintenance

The work is seasonal and usually averages:
❄️ Around 1 day per month during winter
☀️ Up to 2 days per month during summer

There may also be extra work from time to time depending on what is needed around the marae.

All equipment and PPE will be provided.

👉 If you are already receiving a Kaumātua grant, there's no need to reapply.
🎓 Educational grants are available for: Primary, Intermediate, Secondary and Tertiary Students.

Update on SH10 Road Closures at Oromahoe:

Saturday 17 January: road open to all traffic and operating under a stop/go from 7:00am – 2:00pm.
Sunday 18 January: road open to all traffic, no work will take place. Reduced speed limit in place.
Monday 19 January to Thursday 22 January: Road closed (residents only) 7:00am – 7:00pm.
