This latest 206 OB is due to be collected and head out the door this week to its second time Rae Line owners upgrading from their 186 C.

Having been in and out of the factory since the beginning of the development of the 206, this customer provided valuable insight and feedback as it was all being designed and built and it is an absolute pleasure that we can deliver them their brand new 206 OB, due for use in the Marlborough Sounds along with being towed to many different destinations throughout the South Island.

Powered by the mercurymarinenz 200hp V6 amd very well equipped, a full walk-through of this boat is to come!

After 3 Years of development, the first test run of the new 210 BR is complete and we are looking forward to having this new model fully finished and ready to display at the upcoming Outdoor Expo along with our other shows due to come on over the next few months.

Powered by the Mercruiser 6.2L V8, this boat is no slouch! Paired with the DTS controls of the Bravo 1 drive unit, all the latest tech and features are at your fingertips behind the helm.

The latest 185 OBE is the next out the door to its new owners.

Set to deliver a ton of fun in the Southern Lakes region, this latest OBE has been rigged with the mercurymarinenz 150hp 4-Stroke to deliver all the power needed for any water based activity and upgraded with a few extras too!

The new 210 BR with the first of a new bow ladder option fitted and installed.

Designed to make accessing the boat that much easier from the beach, the bow ladder simply folds out from underneath the anchor hatch to provide a 3-step access onto the bow hatch and through into the boat.

With the 210 having some specific design features integrated to ensure full walk-thru access without having to stand on any upholstery, we look forward to showcasing more design highlights as we continue on with revealing this new model!

This bow ladder option will also be available on our 205 outboard bowrider going forwards as well as some of the other design features that have been integrated into the 210!

With the spider hinges away being machined for the 210 BR, the focus turned to getting the pull-up backrests completed that are part of the sunpads sitting either side of the walk-through into the cockpit.

These took a fair while to conceptualize and ensure proper functioning without creating interference with other upholstery panels, or requiring angled cuts in the upholstery foam for hinging.

As such a rotational sliding design was settled upon to provide the desired outcome. Part of that finished design was having a latch that was easy to operate without requiring additional supports which would potentially affect the storage area underneath the sunpads. This latch design was made to be completely machinable in-house and offer the exact offsets needed for the design.

All-in-all, we think this aft facing sunpad seat setup will be comparable to anything else on offer, but completed in a far more cost effective manner!

An insight into the custom spider hinges and the operation of them for the 210 BR Sunpads.

With the design of the motor box increasing in height relative to the resting position of the sun pad, the motion for the sun pad required it to move up before rotating out and with the tolerance between the sunpad and the deck of the boat, the only option to be found was a spider hinge type design where the motion can be tailored to the required specs.

Currently being laser cut, we will look to have these hinges in place and operational within the next few weeks!

Up next is the pivoting backrest to create a reverse facing seat on the platform!
