‼ OUTAGE NOTIFICATION‼️
Due to a Unison power outage, one of our transmitter towers has been taken offline. We've received advice this should be restored in the next few hours. This also affects connections further south than indicated on the below map, as the transmitter feeds many connections as far south as Porangahau.

➡ IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please DO NOT reset your router, unless instructed by our Technical Team. Resetting causes the device to lose its custom firmware, and will require re-configuration when the power resumes.

⚠️We plan to sunset our email service on March 1st, 2025, which will affect customers with RuralKiwi and WaspNet email accounts. Additionally, starting September 1st, 2024, we will be introducing a monthly fee of $9.99 (including GST) for each email account.

If you no longer use this email service but have an account - please get in touch to remove it and avoid the fee going forward.

We wanted to give you plenty of notice so you can create a new email address and save any important emails or data.

There are many options available for a new email address - Gmail, Outlook and iCloud, just to name a few. These email accounts have superior security, more features and a vastly improved user interface.

If you need a hand and would like a technician onsite to assist in your email transfer, we're more than happy to assist. Standard rates and travel costs apply.

** Final Update **

All of our POP sites are back online. Some customers may experience some slowness while the network settles due to the large number of customers reconnecting at once.

We can only humbly apologise for this unplanned outage. We should have a full report from our supplier in the coming days, and we will reach out to all our customers with a summary of that information.

The issue is with our upstream provider and our fibre circuits that feed our POP / High sites and not the network itself.
