Fowle Contracting Ltd is looking for experienced, motivated machinery operators to join our team for the 2026/2027 season. If you enjoy working in a supportive team environment, operating modern machinery, and being part of a busy agricultural contracting season — we’d love to hear from you.
We are a family-owned agricultural contracting business focused on delivering high-quality service across the Western Southland region. We pride ourselves on maintaining well-presented machinery, a strong team culture, and excellent relationships with our customers.
🚜 Available Operator Roles
Depending on experience, work may include:
• Baling
• Raking
• Cultivation Work
• Fodder Beet Drilling
• Crop Drilling
• Triple Mowers
• Fertiliser Spreading
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking reliable team players who:
• Take pride in maintaining machinery to a high standard
• Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Can plan and carry out operations efficiently
• Are committed to Workplace Health & Safety
• Work well with management, teammates, and customers
• Are punctual, reliable, and motivated
Requirements
• Minimum 3+ years’ machinery operating experience
• Full NZ Driver Licence (or foreign equivalent) with clean record
• Ability to provide previous employer references
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and ongoing random testing
• Flexibility to work extended hours during busy periods, including some weekends
