Everything Garden Otaki

Everything Garden Otaki Joanne and Chris bought a bus and hit the road. We ended up in the winterless north and now run a DOC campsite.

Otaki is still our home and we may be back but in the meantime everything garden is growing weeds :) After over 18 years working for a corporate company Joanne decided on a life style change and wants to share her love for gardening by working for herself. Chris a builder by trade has completed level 3 horticulture and permaculture and is a sole trader in the building trade. We live on a half acre landscaped section where we practice organic principals.

I am getting quite excited. I tidied up a property the week before last for the public trust. An estate property.. It was a big job it took 7 hours full on and included lawns, gardens, pruning, edging and getting rid or green waste.
The house is an estate on the market. Who ever buys that house will feel the love of the previous owner. It was a pleasure to work there.
I was quite blown away on the last day (Chris came with me to dig over the vege patch at the back and help me to drag the wool bale bags of green waste off site) there is not a lot of big trees or hedging at the back of the property but we had a gorgeous fantail following us around keeping an eye on us and letting us know that the love was there.

Its really interesting how Karma and life in general works.... My number two client is a gorgeous lady. She will be 84 in October. same birthday as another close friend of mine.... the amazing thing is how Colleen and I connected again. as I had met her a year or so ago... Angels have this way of connecting people. The one thing I did not know about her was that she lost her son and of course so did I. She asked me if I had messages or if he talked to me....... How can you not know when two people are supposed to be friends :) amazing... Colleen is a beautiful lady. She cant get over how we connected again..... I just hope we have alot of years and love to share as I think our boys are up there exchanging notes lol........ x o x boys.......
