The Guitar Guru aims to get you to the level of playing where you can learn a piece of music by ear, write and record your own music, play live shows, be able to pick up a guitar at a friends house and impress them or even just being able to play along to your favourite songs. What ever your goal is within your playing, The Guitar Guru will help you get there.

Mōrena! I’ve got 5 lesson slots available starting from the 15th of September for anyone keen to learn guitar, ukulele, or bass.

I’m also keen to offer two extra casual slots each week on a kōha (pay what you can) basis. Reach out and we'll sort something 👌🏾

🕒 Times available:

Mondays (3pm, 3:30pm)

Tuesdays (3pm, 3:30pm, 4pm)

Wednesdays (flexible daytime spots – Perfect for stay-at-home parents!)

Lessons run for 30 minutes and are taught in my studio at Ōtaki Beach.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or want to build on what you already know, I’d love to help you out 🤙🏾

Just a message to all the Ōtaki and Kāpiti Coast whānau on here.

I'm opening my books to take on a few more students for the first time in three years.
(Unfortunately I don't have space for any online students at the moment)

If you or your tamariki are keen on acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukulele or bass lessons then flick me a message. I have two spaces available for either Thursday or Friday afternoon and one space available for a Sunday afternoon.

Here's another requested waiata (song) called No Roots by L.A.B

I thought it would be a good time to kick off the year with an L.A.B tune since the boys were on tour. For anyone in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) there are still a small amount of tickets available for their Western Springs show on January the 22nd so get in quick as you won't want to miss it.

I saw these guys play a free show for the Corona summer tour they were a part of at The Boundary on the Kāpiti Coast back in 2017 and it was one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

Hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and New Year break! Looking forward to seeing some new faces this year.
