𝑩𝒆𝒊𝒋𝒆𝒓 𝑩𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑶𝒇𝒇 𝑺𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝟐

For the second year running, our Beijer Ref Support Centre turned up the heat in the kitchen for the annual Beijer Bake Off!

With more than xx incredible homemade creations on display, this year’s competition was filled with delicious flavours, creative ideas, and plenty of team spirit. From sweet classics to savoury favourites, choosing the winners was no easy task!

Congratulations to our 2026 Bake Off winners:

𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒆𝒏 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒎 – 𝑨 𝑹𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑱𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚

After more than 30 years of dedicated service, we say farewell to Ken Graham as he heads into retirement.

Ken’s journey began at Realcold, where he spent over 20 years as Warehouse Manager, playing a key role in building strong foundations for the business. Following Realcold becoming part of the Beijer Ref New Zealand group, Ken continued his contribution for another decade as our Beijer Ref Support Centre Manager, overseeing properties, buildings, logistics, and so much more.

Ken has been a steady hand behind the scenes, someone the team could always rely on. His knowledge, commitment, and practical approach have left a lasting impact across the business.

Today, we gathered to celebrate Ken at his farewell lunch, sharing stories and recognising an outstanding career.

Ken, thank you for everything you’ve done over the years.
We wish you all the very best for the next chapter — well deserved and hard earned.

𝑹𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑨𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝑩𝒆𝒊𝒋𝒆𝒓 𝑹𝒆𝒇 𝑵𝒁

This month, our teams across New Zealand came together for a simple but powerful activity, a reminder that mental load is something we all carry, but we don’t have to carry it alone.

Using a hands-on “forklift” activity, each branch:
✔ Built a mini forklift as a team
✔ Identified real mental and emotional challenges we face day to day
✔ Reflected on ways to better support ourselves and each other
✔ Took time to pause, connect, and reset

The message was clear: Small check-ins matter. Taking a break matters. Looking after yourself matters.

We also highlighted the support available through EAP, reinforcing that help is always there when you need it.

Let’s keep the conversation going, not just this month, but every day.
