INZ Update: from 19 July, visa applications will be assessed against the updated median hourly wage rate of $27. This pay rate will determine whether jobs are treated as higher or lower paid. The wage rate was set following public consultation.

Changes to onshore visas will provide employers and visa holders with more certainty, Immigration Minister Kris Faafoi has announced.

Hello Everyone, Please be aware that pre-departure testing is being extended to all travellers except from Australia, Antarctica and most Pacific islands. This change will come into force for all flights arriving in New Zealand after 11:59pm (NZT) on Monday 25 January, to minimise disruption for those travellers with imminent departures. See the below link for further information

To further protect New Zealand from COVID-19, pre-departure testing is now extended to all travellers except from Australia, Antarctic, most Pacific islands.

Hi Everyone, Just an update to let you know our office will be closed from Tuesday 24th March. Due to the recent developments, we have taken steps to work remotely. We are still working and available between 9:00am-5.30pm. We can be contacted via Facebook or Email and we will return any phone messages at the earliest opportunity. Unfortunately we will no longer be meeting with clients until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but trust that you will understand why these steps have been taken under the current circumstances.

On 24 February 2020, Immigration New Zealand are making changes to what an applicant applying for a SMC Resident Visa must earn to be awarded points for skilled employment. The annual salaries below are based on a 40 hour per week job.

On 24 February 2020 the wage or salary thresholds for Skilled Migrant Resident Visas and Essential Skills Work Visas will increase.
