This has been one of my favourite poses this cycle. There’s something about it that feels like a mirror for where I’m at, learning to rise from my centre, to soften where I grip, to trust my body more than my mind.
Every time I move into this shape, it reminds me that balance is allowed to wobble, strength can come with softness, and growth doesn’t need to happen fast to be real.
Yoga has been such an anchor for me throughout this season of dance, healing, and expansion. It’s where my nervous system recalibrates, where my breath catches up with my life, and where I remember that alignment is something you feel, not something you force.
