lil biz, bitta passion and a lot of love ❤️

From magazine worthy homes to, “yup, I’m sure we’ll squeeze in here” I love setting up this table and bringing Beside Massage to you. I love it so much I’ll get on the tools ( 🙌 💪) in the middle of a 4 day hike, or for your midwife at 1am after supporting a very long labour.

I wish I didn’t wait as long as I did to do something I’m so passionate about and happy to do as work. And I count myself very lucky to be one of those people that gets paid to do something that they love.

Hi! It’s me.. Anneke (Ah-neh-kuh — the Dutch way) i’m the human behind BESIDE 🖐️

Names are super important to me, BESIDE has given me a constant reminder of how I want to posture myself alongside my clients. To continue to see you as the expert of your journey, your body and life. And my own name Anneke, means grace (thanks mum and dad)… to me it’s a reminder to move gently through our world!

I’m finding more and more that my purpose in massage is to embody this gentle presence, supporting my clients with bodywork that sees, meets and adapts to the pace that your body is asking for each session.

My offering of in-home massage naturally strips back the stimulation some may find in receiving massage in a therapy space! I’ve seen this helping people reconnect with their bodies & their intuition too.
And I’m so lucky that many of my clients have continue to book & rebook and share my work with other wonderfully aligned people. You know who you are! thank you for the privilege of journeying with you over time.

I’m continuing to grow my practice through study and mentoring so that we can keep seeing results and movement over time…. not only for body, but in mind and spirit too!

I’m just a village gal really! Here to show up with a massage table at your place… to share in the laughter, the tears and all that ranges in-between! Ready for your next booking when you are 🤍
