Steel It was proud to work with the customer on this build in the Waikato. Engaging early, we looked after the design and consent process as well as manufacture and supply of the in-fill firewall framing and the Axxis framing for the attached offices.

Three of the perimeter walls were required to be fire walls so we engaged early and design simple 150mm inserts that could be stood up in between the portals and screwed in place. At 6m high, these were substantial but light weight compared to the timber alternative and the builder was able to stand them in place in 4 days!

Steel Framing project done ✔️ Take a look through!

This was a pretty special build for one of our lovely customers in a coastal spot near Ōtaki. He came to us for the full package - design, consent and supply of steel framing and together we delivered a high quality home. 🏠

To make things easier onsite (and save days of labour), we prefabricated floor cassettes in our local Kapiti factory and lifted them straight into place.🔨🔩👌 Even the electrician, who is new to steel framing said it was "easy as pie" with almost no drilling thanks to our pre-punched service holes.
