Took some time out from the computer for some volunteer time and hosted these young people at Pukerua Bay Community Garden. I think we all enjoyed ourselves and made some connections!

Don't you just love a win-win?

Starting the week encouraged by an excellent design hui I was glad to be part of (and managed to hi-jack for my brand shoot!)

Together (while trying to ignore Tracy Sexton) we explored the ways to approach challenges head-on and avoid the temptation to wallow in doom.

The most exciting part of the session was realising the potential for UNINTENDED POSITIVES along the haeranga (journey). The serendipity of this hui fitting my photography schedule was just one of them. Hopefully James King will find the shots useful too.

As always, creating is a better place to be in than reacting.

Great time presenting a branding workshop with Sarah-Jayne Shine at Chrysalis for Women today.

It was fun, and proved how Chrysalis for Women is a little different from many business networking groups in that we're NOT restricted to one of each profession.

The bonus of that approach is you get to hang out will your professional peers and support, not compete, with each other. As today proved, you can be VERY similar on paper but they way you express yourself can be very different.

We made a great team - thanks SJ.

"Victory over vinyl"

A great doco on hand sign painters that's worth checking out.

Some entertaining characters talking about the craft and soul in what they do, how technology swept through the industry in the 80/90's and how younger people keeping are keeping it alive.

Here's hoping for victory over 'Ai slop' too!

Also, thanks to whoever it was who told me about this. Definitely worth a watch.
