Day 5 Design

Hey guys! 😄

Press play ▶️ she has two websites, and I got to design both! 🎉💻

One for her admin business. One for her marriage celebrant business, live this week 💍

Same woman. Two completely different businesses. Two completely different feelings to design for 💛

And she makes it all happen alongside a day job.

Her wins are my wins too 🤍✨

Today I wore these earrings to the park and I just felt really different ✨ I tried four pairs from Lou Lou and I honestly just don’t have a favourite 😄

Designed by Lou Lou here in NZ and really easy to wear every day.

Which pair would you pick? 🤍🦋✨

Hey Guys!

I’ve been a bit busy lately with Ronnie's Cafe Bakery based at 216 Mill Road, Bombay, Auckland ☕🥧🍩🍪🥪

They work hard. They show up. They keep going. Seven days a week.

I’ve helped them redesign their coffee menu, hot food menu, website and business cards.

The foot traffic is just constant.. it honestly seems like customers come in and out every minute of the day (what a busy shop!).

A bag for all the things we somehow end up carrying around 🤍

I recently got to try The Golden Fourth bag and honestly… there is SO much room.

Work stuff, drink bottle, keys, cards, everyday essentials — all in one bag without having to carry another one.

Practical, beautiful and made for real everyday life.

One bag, many chapters. ✨

So extremely excited to have had the opportunity to design 2 e-commerce websites, and they both went live on the same day (one yesterday before midday and the other just before midnight!)

Check out:

A women bag brand redesigned with feeling: The Golden Era.

Every project started with a plan with the intention to see it come to life! 💯✨⭐️⚡️🌟▶️😎

Every dream starts with the first step, and I’m genuinely here to listen 🤍
.I’m also building mine too between my day job and raising a young family/life.

One year ago, I chose chaos.

Monday & Tuesday. Back-to-back client meetings. 2x days in a row last week right after clocking out from my day job..because when a client needs you, you show up. You don't have to carry your dream in silence. I'm here to help.

A year of building, learning, failing, and showing up anyway. Today marks 365 days of Day 5 Design, and honestly? I've never been more certain this is exactly where I'm meant to be. 🎨

From watching a client's full vision come to life on a live website, and that moment when they mentioned they’re so really loving the look and feel..that's why I do this. 💫

Last week: 2 design quotes. 2 marketing proposals. 2 website quotes. Every proposal is a conversation starter. These parts don’t always make the highlight reel—but they're everything.

Here's the thing: it IS extremely chaotic. But it's intentionally chaotic. Every decision comes from intention and some weeks I just get through them - because I have the ability to.

Whether you're in DAY 1 IN or even 10, 20 years in.. I am here to listen about it. Here’s to celebrating each and every win with each and every person who’s had a chance to work with Day 5 Design.

Showing up matters 🤍

Hey Guys! 😎☀️✨⚡️

I’ve recently reworked my magic ✨ on a few past logo concepts that didn’t get chosen for a branding project earlier this year. Hey no hard feelings, but sometimes people have particular preferences in what they like and that doesn’t mean anything bad... so let’s repurpose those and make them into quotes 🦋

Save these for later if you’re looking for inspiration.

Day 5 Design - Creating what you wish existed.

I’m just a call away if you happen to need design / marketing support.

Every idea you’ve got is worth it. Just remember that! 💛

I am so encouraging for anyone to just start.
