Moggie Lodge Home away from home, for your feline friends. Nestled in the hills of Pukerua Bay and just off SH1 The Lodge is open on week day mornings from 9.30 - 11.30.

Moggie Lodge is a popular cattery that has been established for over 20 years. Owners can choose to have their cats kept separately in spacious runs, but the majority of cats prefer to be out in the communal areas. There is lots of light, air, plenty of hiding spaces and fabulous hillside and ocean views! Cats get a range of fresh and dry quality food, lots of attention and a range of toys/bedding

to choose from. The location is very convenient for dropping off and picking up when heading in and out of Wellington on SH1. Afternoon/weekend hours are being determined (due to new management). However, prior arrangements for drop offs/pick ups can always be arranged. Rates are very reasonable, just $12 per day, with discounts for multiple cats (that share runs).

Dear friends of Moggie Lodge.

We are very sorry to let you know that we are closing down on 31st March 2019. We have already notified many of you about this and apologise if we not have managed to contact you personally.

We have loved serving you and looking after your beloved animals, but have found that it is impacting our family lives too much and have made the decision to put family first.

We would like to thank you for being such wonderful customers and thank our dedicated staff for being an awesome team. Especially the amazing Denise Uschmann who has been the Manager that made the business so popular and ensured your cats were so well looked after.

We are looking for a cattery to recommend to you and will let you know if we find one. We also leave you with a few photos of our special little friends. We are very much open for business until 31st March, so feel free to book in for one last visit.
