Employers, Have Your Say - ANZSCO to be replaced!

INZ has announced the new National Occupation List (NOL) is set to be released on 20 November 2024, replacing the outdated ANZSCO system. Employers are encouraged to review the list and provide input on roles relevant to their industries. Your feedback is essential to ensure the NOL accurately reflects the roles for your sector.

But the system is a little overwhelmed which was to be expected hopefully it won't be down for too long?

The first round of applications for New Zealand’s new 2021 Resident visa are now open.

Did you know from Monday 22nd November the undersupply list will no longer be in effect? Labour Market Tests (LMT) are back for jobs paid below the median wage ($27/hour)
UNLESS
the role is listed on INZ’s skills shortage lists and/or for applicants that remain in their current role, employer, and region

For all other applicants employers must now;
* List job vacancies paid below the median wage with MSD
* Make genuine attempts to recruit NZer’s and engage with MSD to obtain a Skills Match Report (SMR) to supply to INZ
