Next preparation to parenthood class is live
Start date for this block is Monday 31st March. I run these for 5 weeks consecutively except this block there will be a week gap due to Easter and public holidays. The cost is for a couple for the entire block. The sessions are held in the meeting room at Salvation Army.

We had the most amazing time on the kids first overseas holiday. They were super excited to go on the plane and loved spending lots of quality time together.

My big highlights and recommendations if you are heading here with kids for activities.

1. Currumbin Sanctuary it has a little train that goes round the park. There is lots of animals and it is really interactive for the kids, they also had a Blinky Bill show which our kids loved. It was easy to get around with a pram and there was lots of shady areas to stop for a rest.
2. Pirate playground at palm beach. This was a find by luck on Google but it was awesome. The playground is set out like a pirate ship with lots of climbing areas for kids, was great for any toddlers who are walking and trying to climb. It is situated right on the water which is off the main beach so it is really shallow for kids to paddle and swim. There is lots of grass area for the kids to run around as well as lots of trees for shade. There is also a cafe there with great food and coffee 👌🏼.
3. Rockpools at Broadwater parklands. These were hands down one of our kids favourites. It is a splash area with water, fountains and sea animals for them to cool down and explore, lots of shade and picnic areas to park up. There is also a cafe close for food and drinks,
3. Robina shopping mall. They have an area down the bottom called the promenade with lots of restaurants and a playground fully fenced. The restaurants back onto this so if you get a good spot you can sit at your table and have full view of the kids while enjoying your drink, which lets be honest lasts all of 5 seconds 🤣.

Term 3 is slowly coming to an end which means it is time to start taking bookings for term 4 for playgroup! This is a super relaxed but informative group where you will make connections with others as well as learn something for your parenting toolbox.

Next block of preparation to parenthood classes is live! These will start on Wednesday 2nd October for 5 weeks.
This will be my last group block for the year. If anyone can't make these dates work and still wants the content I am happy doing a condensed version privately, please DM me for further info.

Term 3 2024 playgroup bookings are now open! Term 3 starts on Monday 22nd July
If your baby is younger or older than the ages just let me know as it sometimes it will make more sense to join this term than waiting for the next one.
If you are pregnant and know you would of had your baby I would highly encourage you to sign up, otherwise you may end up going on a waitlist.
This group is where we develop relationships, learn and grow as parents. Previous terms we have covered first aid, sleep, water safety, done Pilates as a group, done a postpartum friendly workout, talked about sleep, solids, play, relationships. The list is endless.

After everyone's feedback I am super excited to share my next stage of Multiple Choice. As we know first comes "Preparation to parenthood" supporting through the antenatal period, now I am going to be supporting through the postpartum period as well with "Parenthood and Pépi". This clinic is for any parents who are looking for professional advice for their baby in the areas of sleeping/settling, feeding (including starting solids). It could be other things like transitioning back to work, getting your baby to take a bottle, what to dress your baby in for sleep. The list goes on.
I am currently working my way through my study towards Accreditation in Neuroprotective Developmental Care for infants (previously the possums programme) to broaden my passion and knowledge for this area of infants which includes infant cry fuss problems, sleep and perinatal and infant mental health. With 12 years looking after infants and families as both a midwife, child and health nurse as well as being a Mum myself to 3 children. I can provide professional and practical advice for you and your family.
The clinic will be Monday afternoons from 1.30pm-3.30pm and they are 30 min slots. You will get an email post the appointment with the suggestions/advice and any guides or education as well.
Booking's are essential as due to time restraint I can not offer these as a walk in clinic.
I will be running these at Unichem Remarkables Park Pharmacy in the clinic room upstairs. Possibly once every few weeks I may use the clinic room at the Unichem at Jacks Point to make it easier for the families out that way.

The cost for the clinic will be $79.
The first clinic will be starting Monday 24th June, please DM me to book (online bookings will be open soon).

Today is for the Mums.
To the want to be Mums, the step Mums, the fur Mums the Mums with no live baby to hold, the Mums with no Mum of their own.
Mother’s Day can be tough for people so be kind today. I remember when we were going through IVF. I found Mother’s Day hard as I was so desperate to become a Mum. Then once I had Harry my first Mother’s Day was hard as my mental health wasn’t the best and I had so much guilt around how I felt.
Mums are pretty incredible so celebrate the Mums you know today 🥰🥰

Unfortunately these have gone up by $20, this is to reflect the time and effort I put into these, as well as an increase of cost for my venue. I truely make these as cost effective as I can.
