A moment for the storyboard. ☀️

One of the standout features in our new Queenstown showroom is our energy flow storyboard, designed to make solar simple to understand.

The goal was for us to have a clean, succinct visual journey of how solar works in the home. We know solar can seem complicated at first, but this tool will help us demonstrate exactly how it all works.

Pop into 128 Gorge Road and take a look for yourself. It's a great way to visualise how solar, battery storage, and the grid work together to power your home. ☀️⚡

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last night to celebrate the opening of our new office space at 128 Gorge Road! ☀️

It was a great evening connecting with customers, partners, and industry leaders.

Some of the highlights included:
🚗 Test driving the Tesla Model Y and Model YL with Full Self-Driving (Supervised), thanks to the Tesla team
🌿 Going in the draw to win a one-night stay at Kinloch Wilderness Retreat
☕ Catching up with our customers and chatting all things solar, batteries, EV charging, and home electrification
☀️ Exploring our new Solar Story Wall, following the journey of solar energy from the sun, through your home, and back to the grid
🤝 Celebrating this exciting milestone with our local community

A big milestone for solar in New Zealand! ☀️🇳🇿

New Zealand has officially surpassed 1 gigawatt of installed solar, a huge achievement that shows just how quickly solar is becoming part of our energy future.

Recently we've seen rapid growth as more homeowners, farmers, and businesses choose to generate their own electricity, reduce power bills, and gain greater energy independence. More rooftop solar has been installed in the past three years than in the previous decade combined.

Momentum is only building. As more Kiwis discover the benefits of solar, we're excited to see what the next decade brings.

Supporting Local Restoration with Solar 🌱

We recently spent the day at the Wakatipu Reforestation Trust, where we contributed and installed a solar system to help lower the nursery's operational costs by off-setting their energy demands whilst also exporting lots of clean, renewable energy back to the grid to be used within the community.

Bettering our environment is one of our core values, so being able to support an organisation that's dedicated to restoration it felt like a natural fit. The nursery grows thousands of native plants that go on to support planting projects throughout the Whakatipu Basin, helping restore local ecosystems one plant at a time.

It was an all hands on deck effort from our team, with the solar install completed in a single day. Our office crew got involved too, swapping keyboards for gloves and pitching in around the nursery, helping move plants, tidy up, and lend a hand wherever it was needed. A chance for our team to spend the day together, connecting and sharing our values.

A big thanks to everyone at the Whakatipu Reforestation Trust for having us. We're proud to have played a small part in supporting the incredible work being done to nurture our local environment.
