Creative Director Ann Wyatt has returned to Queenstown and is excited to announce the opening of ‘Watson & Wyatt Design’. With over 20 years experience specialising in national corporate events, Ann and the team bring a wealth of knowledge back to Central Otago. Ann was previously the owner of the national Event Design and Management company Red Pebb

le Event Design Ltd in Wellington. Ann has worked with many of New Zealand’s most prestigious corporates including Tourism New Zealand, New Zealand Rugby Union, and New Zealand Post. Ann and the team are looking forward to bringing this level of perfection to Queenstown with a focus on event design and home styling.

Last night we had the pleasure of styling a pre-meetings dinner with Destination Queenstown, hosted by The Cargo Collective event venue.

Guests enjoyed an evening of gin making (and drinking!), accompanied by delicious food from Artisan Catering | Bespoke Culinary Experiences Catering .

Our theme for the evening was a Winter Garden, brought to life with lush greenery, layered textures, and beautiful lighting from our friends at TomTom Productions

Excellent day at Lake Hayes A+P Show.

Thanks to the organisers and sponsors for another wonderful family-style day at the Lake Hayes showgrounds.

I had some great conversations with locals about real issues facing our communities, including water conservation, over-tourism, energy resilience, road congestion, and potential solutions.

Nice to catch up with teams from Queenstown Lakes District Council, Wanaka Wastebusters, Fire and Emergency, and Queenstown Police.

Cheers to Southern Lakes Branch NZDA for a superb lunch.

Thanks to NZ Ski for the brilliant free shuttle service from the 5 Mile! The view was brilliant and the ride relaxing, especially through Dalefield on the way back to town.

I did miss the pillow fights on a slippery pole that was my favourite there when I was a lot, lot younger.
