With harvest behind us, he's starting to wind down from his high-impact roles of bird scarer, duck chaser and tractor operator, and is settling into his visitor greeter and professional sun bather, couch surfer era.

Out in the vineyard, the vines are resting too, golden leaves falling as autumn draws to a close and pruning season quietly approaches.

The day we harvested our organic Sauvignon Blanc here at Cherry Tree Vineyard ✨️

Straight from the vine, the fruit was carried just metres to our small on-site press. Here, whole bunches of golden grapes were gently pressed, unlocking layers of flavour, with care and attention at every step.

We can’t wait for this one.

Harvest 2026 🍇
Picking came early and fast this year, with all fruit tucked up in the winery by Easter weekend.
A beautiful ripening season meant grapes reached their sugar levels quickly... and timing is everything.

Renwick pies on repeat, plenty of helping hands, late nights rolling into early mornings, and just like that, harvest was done.
Now, it’s in the winemaker’s hands 🤲

Cirro Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc - thoughtfully crafted by Marlborough winemaker David Tyney, capturing the purity of the Wairau Valley.

Harvested in late March and guided by cool-climate winemaking, this wine lets nature lead, with bright notes of green rockmelon, feijoa, green tea and soft white florals, finishing long and lively.

Crisp air, quiet moments, and something refreshing in hand, there's nothing like a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
