Gold in London calls for an extra-long weekend.

To celebrate The Doctors’ Sauvignon Blanc taking Gold at the London Wine Competition, we’re stretching out the King’s Birthday break.

Our office will be closed Friday through Monday, but our cellar door will be open all weekend long, including Monday.

Here’s to a long weekend, well earned.

All through May, cellar doors across Marlborough have been pouring unique Sauvignon Blanc tasting experiences for just $10.

Meet Katie, our Cellar Door Manager and a familiar face for many who visit Forrest.
⁠
When she’s not hosting tastings, sharing stories, and talking wine, Katie is busy studying Viticulture and Oenology, now in her second year.⁠

Her pick? Forrest Botrytised Riesling.⁠
⁠
“It’s rich and comforting coming into winter, but still beautifully balanced,” says Katie. “There’s a smoothness to it that makes each sip feel a little bit special.”

Her perfect match? Blue cheese. The saltiness and creaminess sit beautifully alongside the wine’s sweetness and bright acidity.

A wine that’s picked up Double Gold and 98 points at the NZ International Wine Show, plus Gold at the Marlborough Wine Show and New World Wine Awards.
