‘Distinctive, different and delicious with aromas and flavours of lees and barrel ferment qualities, a creaminess on the palate and flavours that swing from subtle to intense. A dry wine, developing too with a readiness on the palate. A decent acid line and persistent flavours, a wine for enjoying from day of purchase through 2027.’

Fabulous review of our 2025 Syrah- thank you Stephen Wong !
‘High-toned and very perfumed, this opens with bright aromas of violet and rose before giving way to crunchy flavours of blueberry, pomegranate and red plum. The fine, gravelly tannins contrast with its vivid acidity and long, chalky finish. Perfumed right to the end, this is a lively, mid-weight, New Wave syrah which hides its depth within accessible charm. It can be enjoyed now or left to develop more savoury complexity in the near term.’

Thank you, for this review of 2024 Leah Pinot Noir
‘Core hues of purple and ruby with a pink and purple rim. A youthful and intense bouquet with scents of blackberry and plum then dark cherry and raspberry. A light and fine savoury quality highlights the mineral stony earth complexity that naturally sits within the bouquet then palate. A dry wine with textures from acidity and tannins carrying the core fruit flavours and mouthfeel. Drinking very nicely now and will continue to evolve with the best window for imbibing from 2028 through 2032.’

94 pts – 2024 Seresin Rachel Pinot Noir – ranked 3/32 Marlborough Pinot Noirs
‘Dark, brooding and concentrated, the blackberry, violet and black cherry flavours are wrapped in layers of coffee-ish tannins and smoky oak which finishes grainy and dry. A sense of muscularity closes in on the back but the density of fruit is clearly here and this will be very good in time. Give it a couple of years to come together and enjoy over the next decade.’
