Tight cash flow in January 💸? Provisional tax doesn’t have to be part of the problem.

We are seeing a number of clients using deferred payment terms 🕒💸 with suppliers.

AFTERPAY - ZIPPAY - LAYBUY etc..

It can have benefits to the cash cycle of a business when used correctly ✅

But what about the GST implications if you are on a 'payments basis' like most businesses 📝??

IRD have released some clear guidance and are seeking feedback from us in the industry (tax geeks) 🔎🤓

Although not officially legislation, the supplementary orders paper (which will change the legislation) is likely to go ahead as discussed in the document.
