What a way to start a Friday morning!

We are super stoked to be announced as a finalist in two categories of the Northland Business Excellence Awards - the Innovation and Environmental awards categories.

📢 Awards Trophy Presentation and announcement of the Northpower & Top Energy Northland Business Excellence Supreme winner and The Northern Advocate Business Hall of Fame Inductee.

The 2021 Northland Business Excellence Awards Presentation was postponed last year due to the ongoing restrictions for events and hospitality due to Covid-19. Now, with the impending Omicron outbreak, NorthChamber have made the difficult decision to cancel the smaller award winners’ and sponsors’ in-person trophy presentation event that was scheduled for Friday 18th February

NorthChamber will be in contact with the Category winners following the announcement on Friday 4th February to arrange a special in-person trophy presentation that will be photographed and shared on the Northland Business Excellence Awards Facebook and Web Pages.

Keep an eye out for more details over the coming days on where you can be the first to see who is announced as the Northpower & Top Energy NZ Northland Business Excellence Supreme winner and who is being inducted into The Northern Advocate Business Hall of Fame, on Friday 18 February.

It has been a while since we've had a team lunch - with lockdowns and deadlines time went so fast - but this afternoon we got the chance to spend some time together.

It was an opportunity to just relax, enjoy each other's company and celebrate what we've managed to achieve in the last few months 🥳

The weather was perfect, the view stunning and the company delightful. We are so lucky to have a team of amazing people who are not only competent and dedicated, but fun to spend time with - the perfect combo!

On Saturday we got to spend some time with the Crewcut Lawn & Garden team at Auckland Zoo.

It was just great catching up with 'old' customers and also meeting the newer franchisees face-to-face. We have known some of these guys for 10 years or more and without their continued support and their feedback in the early days, our EVERCUT trimmer line would not have become the brand it is today.

We used the opportunity to show off a couple new trimmer lines in our range and gave away loads of free samples to try.

Did I mention all of this happened at Auckland Zoo? What a fabulous venue for getting everyone in a happy and relaxed mood!!
Visiting the Takahe enclosure was definitely a highlight.

The Crewcut team regularly provide lawn shoot treats to these amazing birds. It was super cool being able to get so close to them and watching them enjoy those fresh lawn shoots!!

Today, on ANZAC day, we remember those soldiers who paid the ultimate price in war and we honour our returned and active service men and women.
