A simple, but effective and aesthetic solution to a ‘sandy’ situation. The sandpit edging was previously on the same level as the ground, with sand and bark spilling over both ways. We raised the borders and added a lip to contain the sand and gave the area a fresh look.

Before lockdown, I picked up some plywood offcuts from a roadside. The wife needed to set-up a home office so she could work from home during Alert Level 4; so I built her an office table!

Custom furniture need not be expensive. With a bit of creativity and a can-do attitude, it can also be affordable and sustainable. -KG👍🏽
