Hello 2026 👋

As we head into a new year, we wanted to take a moment to touch base with our local community.

Alpine Signs and Riccarton Signs now work together as one team — with John still hands-on across both. Same people, same care, just a bigger workshop and more capability behind us.

With that growth has come a natural shift in focus. These days, we’re best set up to help with larger signage projects — things like vehicles, fleets, buildings, and ongoing signage for businesses.

We’re still proudly local, still committed to quality, and still grateful for the support that’s got us here. Supporting us continues to mean supporting a local business — just one that’s grown a bit.

Here’s to 2026 and what’s ahead!

Big news for us — we’ve officially taken on ownership of Riccarton Signs in Christchurch.

It’s a long-standing business with a great reputation, and we’re proud to be continuing its story.

Alpine Signs is still your local signwriter — this next step just means we’ve got more hands on deck and a new base in the city.

The Riccarton Signs crew are staying on with us, which is a welcome step up for Alpine Signs. Having an experienced team alongside us means we can take on more projects while staying true to what’s always mattered most — supporting local business and delivering quality work.

I’ll continue to look after our Malvern and wider Canterbury customers as part of my week, making sure our local jobs get the same attention as our projects from Riccarton.

From small business signs to large commercial projects, we’re proud to keep delivering workmanship that stands the test of time.

Kieron from New Life Coaching wanted to improve his brand presence, so got in touch to have his vehicle signwritten.
However, the vehicle needed a little love - so after I did my magic wrapping the bonnet and roof in gloss black, along with branded graphics on the sides and rear, Branden at Collins Detailing visited Kieron to finish it off with a detail service (see the last photo).

Needless to say, this vehicle has had a huge glow up and is representing Kieron and New Life Coaching much better now!

Protecting your investment 🔒
I used Paint Protection Film to create an invisible barrier on this classic Chevrolet Camaro, preventing stones from chipping the paint down the side of the vehicle.
The placement of this PPF was slightly different from the norm, due to the difference in body shape compared to what we see on modern cars today. Stones were flicking from the tyres down the side of the body - no longer an issue, thanks to careful placement of PPF film.
