Hello everyone. I apologize for my long silence, as life has been quite busy - as I am sure everyone is.
I have recently been engaging in conversations with family friends who have children with ADHD, emotional regulation issues, and other learning difficulties.
We exchanged information on resources and, once again, encountered the common challenge faced by parents of children with unique needs: receiving a diagnosis without subsequent support or guidance.
As many of you are aware, I have three remarkable children with their own distinct challenges that my husband and I have had to navigate. My husband has ADHD, and some of these challenges were unfamiliar even to him. Additionally, I have been a qualified Teacher Aide since 2019. I am considering offering coaching services, leveraging my knowledge and experience to provide guidance and create resources. I would ensure that everyone knows how to effectively use these resources. If anyone would be willing to compensate me for my time and materials, I believe this could be a valuable service.
I am simply gauging interest at this point. Schools are often overwhelmed, and many teachers are uncertain about how to support children with unique needs, due to lack of training they would have received in their initial studies.
Thank you for taking the time to read this long rant. Hope you and your loved ones are having a lovely week.
