Woodworkz Nz 100% Nz made. 100% recycled timber. Woodworkz Nz is a Taupo based company making products from recycled timber predominantly Nz native.

I make a wide variety of products some of which you will see very shortly in stores around Nz. But also I make completely custom items as well, wether it's a coffee table or a tooth pick if it's made out of timber chances are I can make it. So if you have an idea, see something on the page you might like or you feel could be different, improved to suit you get in touch. I have a good supply of recycled Nz native, but if you have some timber of your own we can use that as well.

A new piece turned for the Royal Easter Show Art Competition. This Is a piece of Poplar Burl, heavily carved on the outside and given a bleached look with liming wax. A lot of the inspiration for this piece came from some of the work of Eleanor Lakelin. Its a bit of an amalgamation of a few pieces I enjoy making, My Roly Bowls and Kina Shells (sea eggs).

Timber - Poplar Burl
Size - 240mm Diameter
Finish - Oil, Beall Buff and Liming Wax.
