At our last meeting we had the pleasure of hearing from Jesse Archer, from Lake FM Taupล 89.6 as our 10 minute speaker.
Jesse spoke about the power of radio advertising and, more importantly, how great advertising helps build trust and familiarity in your brand.
Lake FM has been locally owned and operated since August 2025, reaching Taupล, the Central Plateau and Western Bays regions, with Rotorua soon to be added to the mix.
One of Jesseโs biggest messages was that building trust locally comes down to showing up consistently. Sound like yourself, make people feel something, talk to everyone, and make sure youโre actually tracking your marketing so you know whatโs working.
He also played us some great examples of radio ads that were catchy, memorable and instantly familiar, showing just how powerful a good ad can be when people hear it consistently.
A really interesting presentation and a great reminder that people are far more likely to choose a business they already know and trust!
