BloomCo

Calling local men in business and leadership across Tauriko, The Lakes and Pyes Pa: The Good Man Network is coming to BloomCo this Friday, 2 October.

You can spend your working day surrounded by clients, colleagues and contacts, yet still feel you’re handling the difficult decisions and pressures largely on your own. The Good Man Network brings local business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals and leaders together to make useful business connections and get to know other men who understand that side of working life.

At Friday’s session, you’ll hear about one another’s businesses, share ideas and have time for honest conversation. There’s no expectation to arrive with a problem or share anything personal. You can simply come along, meet people and see whether the network is for you.

📍 BloomCo, The Lakes
🗓 Friday 2 October, 9.30–11.30am
🎟 Your first Good Man Network session is free

Thanks to Jade and BloomCo for welcoming us. Find out more and book* your place here: https://www.goodmanwellness.co.nz/events/

*Booking is essential due to the number of attendees being capped at 15 to ensure the event is a safe space.

Tauriko Business Link event is this week Thursday!
And we know, short weeks do that thing - so yes, April 30th, this Thursday - storytelling, local leadership lessons, pizza, golf and GOOD COMPANY!
Get your tickets now - there’s still a few left!
Vince Ford is our key note speaker for this event and his talk this week highlights the power leaders have to influence and inspire those that follow. Experience the desert. Discover the skills. Motivate your team to leave a mark that really matters.
Whether it’s to have a break from the short week’s work load, and make some local connections, learn about how storytelling may help you in your professional journey, or you want to check out what indoor golf is all about, over a cold beverage, this is your space to connect with local businesses from Pyes Pay to the Lower Kaimais.

Don’t panic if you can’t make it for 4.30 kick off - we start with open networking with Vince’s session starting just after 5pm.
Hosted by locals Jade Maddox (BloomCo sharespace) and Alana Swain (Swain & Co), this low-cost in-person networking event supports Taumata School's 2026 fundraising efforts while strengthening Tauriko's business ecosystem.
See you there on Thursday?

For our local Tauriko & Pyes Pa business owners & leaders:
Our next networking event on the 30th has a confirmed guest speaker, and you are going to LOVE learning from him!

Vince Ford is an award-winning author with 16 novels for children and teens. He’s an international keynote speaker. He’s taken to the TEDx stage and last year he made the final 28 out of 30,000 speakers who entered the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking in Philadelphia.

Tracks in the Sand: How Leaders Engage, Unite and Influence through Story is a unique keynote. It takes us on an epic journey through the Arabian desert - across salt pans and through sand dunes. It’s a trip filled with danger and discovery and it highlights the power leaders have to influence and inspire those that follow. Experience the desert. Discover the skills. Motivate your team to leave a mark that really matters.

The venue, Fore Seasons Indoor Golf will give you an option to try your hand at a golf simulator in a relaxed setting, or just come along for great conversation and hyper-local networking (“oh! you are THOSE guys?”). There will be prizes in a business card draw too.

Whether you're keen to learn more about how storytelling can help you as a business owner and leader, into a spot of golf, or simply keen to enjoy another evening of fun conversation over a cold beverage, this is your space to connect with local businesses from Pyes Pa through to the Lower Kaimais.

Hosted by locals Jade Maddox (Bloom Co sharespace) and Alana Swain (Swain & Co), this low-cost in-person networking event supports Taumata School's 2026 fundraising efforts while strengthening Tauriko's business ecosystem.

Join us for the autumn edition of Tauriko Business Link where, no matter the weather, we've got a venue that encourages both conversation AND a little bit of something different at Tauriko's very own indoor golf venue!

Hear from award-winning keynote speaker & storytelling coach, Vince Ford as he shares his top tips on why storytelling is so powerful in business - especially in a world where human connection is needed more than ever before.

We know the conversation will be fantastic as the last two events have been & there's loads to learn from each other - bring a friend and join us for great company. There's no need to be a golfing fan - you can have a go on a simulator OR just have a cold bevvy and a chat - whichever you fancy!⛳ 👏🍕🍹
