Plant Improvement New Zealand - PIPZ Limited is involved with kiwifruit plant breeding, tissue culture and the instigation and management of Plant IP and variety licensing around the world. As a company we operate worldwide and in particular have worked in Europe (mainly Holland), North & South America, Africa (Kenya & South Africa), Australia and Asia, predominantly in ornamentals & fruit crops

(Kiwifruit ,berrycrops etc). The company is owned by Andy Warren, who has extensive experience in the management of Plant IP, tissue culture and horticulture projects, both in New Zealand and offshore. Andy is very active at industry level and is deputy chair of the New Zealand National Plant Market Access Council (PMAC) and a member of the Plant Import Consultative Committee (GERMAC).
