ADPM We specialise in low volume additive manufacturing of polymer products for New Zealand's manufacturers, exporters and product developers.

Whether you're refining a prototype, launching a new product or managing a small production run - contact us today. 3D printing has almost unlimited potential and 3Design are at the forefront of this rapidly advancing industry with the latest in 3D printing technology and equipment.
3Design enables 3D printing to be your No. 1 choice for hard plastic prototyping in a wide variety of designs and ap

plications ranging from pragmatic concept models to final part manufacturing. 3D printed parts are accurate and highly detailed, enabling you to create your designs with confidence and efficiency.
3D printed parts give you the option to eliminate expensive tooling costs and drastically reduce your time and cost to your product development or production. With high popularity received in countries like USA and Europe, people start to print anything, from sculpture, hobby, and commercial to a household object (as spare part). The Architecture field has also started to apply this technology to create architectural design prototypes. Archaeologists use it to replicate historical site/objects for their research purposes.
3Design aims to provide these services to local and offshore Architects looking to better their services for their clients, this can be an added service an architect can offer his customers to give their business the leading edge over there opposition. From a simple renovation or extension to a full 3D model of their dream house, whatever your requirements are, we can offer solutions for residential and commercial.

Rigid or flexible? With PA12 nylon, it's not the material that decides. It's the design.
We can dial in wall thickness and geometry to produce durable, lightweight parts anywhere on that spectrum, from structural sections to zip ties and clips.

Choosing the right material is one of the most important decisions in getting a product to market. Strength, flexibility, heat tolerance, finish β€” it all comes down to matching the polymer to what your product actually needs to do.

Our product development team works alongside you to get this right from the outset, so you're not guessing or reworking a production run down the line.

Not sure which material suits your project? Give us a call, or browse our material range here:

Our Materials. Choosing the right material is critical to getting the right result. At ADPM, we work with four carefully selected engineering-grade materials, each suited to different product applications, performance requirements and production environments. Rather than offering every material un

Great to see a test of the physical properties of MJF PA12 nylon. My guess was failure at 50kg (hollow) and 70kg (solid), but I was wrong. The material is stronger than I thought!

Some part designs simply can't be made with a mould tool. Ours had internal ducting that no tool could release from without damaging the part. Additive manufacturing solved it in a single process, with strong, functional clips built straight in that hold up over time. This is the kind of manufacturing challenge we love solving for Bay of Plenty and Waikato manufacturers.

Building specialist automotive parts? Additive manufacturing gives you the speed and flexibility to prototype, test, and refine before committing to a full production run.

We've worked extensively with motorsport and automotive businesses on exactly this kind of work β€” engineering-grade polymer parts, produced locally in Mt Maunganui.

When a critical industrial part goes obsolete, the usual options are expensive, slow, or both. Additive manufacturing offers a third way: we measure the original component accurately, rebuild it digitally, and manufacture it in a polymer chosen for the job's specific demands β€” heat, chemicals, load, or wear. It's a process we've refined for manufacturers who can't afford downtime while they chase down a part that may not exist anymore.
