Well, we are nearing the end of another harvest season. It’s been an odd season with lots of rain and hold ups, but the end is in sight and the results have been outstanding on many of our managed orchards.
With many long days and lots of spraying as well as picking and organising, Geoff holds it all together without the blink of an eye or a complaint in sight. He’s kiwifruit to the core and a bloody good sort. Today I reintroduced his little mates to him, although he gets up to them in the night, he hasn’t seen much of them in the daylight lately. His biggest little boy wanted to bake Daddy/Martin and Babe loaf today, so loaf we baked.
Thanks to an awesome team this season, you’ve been a huge support, hardworking and bloody brilliant to deal with, as always. It’s meant a consistent and reliable job right through the board.
Martin, Dick, Babe, Ravi and the team, Moonlight Cartage and the boys, Cody and Sean for filling in. Dave for getting us started. And all of you that love a bit of kiwifruit in your breakfast. We appreciate you all.
