This year we’ve been working on our sodium based battery design, development and testing. We look forward to when we will be able to release a new sodium based battery offering in the future, likely sometime next year.

We are really putting this technology through its paces with some extreme testing and direct comparisons with our testing between agm, lead carbon and lithium battery technology including lithium lfp. This is very promising from what we’ve seen so far.

This year we also released our new 18.2kWh deep cycle lead carbon battery set and our new design ultra high efficiency small size 240w bifacial panels also specially for marine, rv, tiny home use or applications requiring high power using latest technology with only small install space available.

We are the first and only nz company to be offering this advanced panel technology in this small compact size and we will likely be the first to release our sodium battery technology in the nz market also.

A good video well worth watching, and the points raised and mention also apply for here in nz. Also keep in mind nz only has around 2% Solar adoption, so one of the lowest anywhere, even lower than in the uk which has much worse weather (lower sunshine hours) compared with nz.

If you are concerned about nz having more frequent power outages in the future then secure your own energy supply with your own solar system with battery storage. Yes you can have an on grid system with battery storage without needing to have a full off grid system. If anyone needs any further information please message.

If anybody have Lg solar batteries then best to check in with LG whether yours is affected by this or not. Thankfully we have never supplied any of our clients any LG lithium batteries and now very glad that we never offered them.
