Aeronavics Ltd

Aeronavics Ltd Drones (also known as aerial robotics) are already proving to be the next big thing – comparable to the personal computer some 37 years ago!

We design and manufacture industrial, high-performance drones that are used worldwide to help professional/commercial clients in the utility, agricultural, security, public services, film, and mining sectors. This is not without good cause. There are countless applications in a wide array of industry areas, to help save time and money, increase safety, offer peace of mind, and widely expand creati

ve perspectives and potential. Our drones are easy to use with their function range extended by simply clipping on a different application - more great reasons for the huge adoption of this technology. Based in Timaru, New Zealand, we export our products around the world servicing the growing market in aerial robotics systems for asset inspection, mapping and surveying, precision agriculture, professional cinematography, and service sector applications.

We've been putting these cameras on our aircraft for a while now and always get amazing results.

Need more than one type of camera? No problem. We integrate different cameras onto the same aircraft to offer multi-functional purposes.

Firefighters depend on a number of technologies to help them in fire situations, search and rescue operations, wildland fires and scenarios when they are battling hazardous chemical leaks. When ent…

We're looking forward to showcasing our new farm drone next year and seeing it become an important tool for farm management.

Making it as easy as possible for our nation's farmers to adopt and use this technology is a key focus for us.

Currently, we have the Aeronavics Navi on farms around the country, providing a bird’s-eye-view of what’s happening in the paddock during lambing and calving season, or when the land is too boggy or slippery to get the quad out.

The Navi has more than proved it's an asset on farms and continues to be a popular drone for the agriculture sector. The new technology we're working on is a continuation of that success.

If you're interested in finding out more about our Kiwi-made, industrial drones, please send us a message.

An industrial aerial robotics company that has shifted from Hamilton to Timaru intends to start manufacturing farm drones in 2022.

Our friends at Northpower use a SkyJib for conductor inspections.

Drones are an effective and efficient means to carry out routine inspections of high-value assets. Life-cycle asset management can be time-consuming and expensive, particularly if it disrupts asset operation. The Aeronavics drone can be flown around the asset, zooming in on points of interest from a safe distance and optimising asset use
