Beyond The Black Festival Ltd

Beyond The Black Festival Ltd We exist to provide strategies for the planning and ex*****on of safe events in New Zealand. This is done through having a sound Alcohol Management Plan.

Alcohol Management Plan

I believe I can lower the risk of your event, thus reducing the overall cost to run your event. Let’s think about the attributes of a successful event: financially profitable with the attending patrons exhibiting acceptable standards of behaviour while having a memorably fun time. Good vibes are in the air!! Key stake holders and collaborating organisations are happy becau

se their goals have been planned for and reached. There has not been an extra burden placed on the public emergency resources by your event, so the surrounding communities and authorities feel positive about you holding another event. This is where you want to be – running safe, fun, efficient and cost effective events. Let’s also look at it from the patrons’ perspective; especially in regards to their immediate benefits. What are they trying to achieve by attending the event? We can look at how those needs are met in a safe, enjoyable, and efficient way. I specialise in the planning for and the facilitation of alcohol harm risk mitigation strategies. Let me create and fine tune strategies, and the framework for implementation, that encourage patrons to make healthy decisions in regards to their personal well-being whilst enjoying your event. Thus causing minimal impact upon community resources (emergency services) and ensuring a successful event. I specialise in brokering positive outcomes between key stakeholders. Let me facilitate the collaboration of many organisations to share information and create and implement a fine tuned, well thought out, formula for a safe and successful event. Having multiple organisations involved during the event planning, operating and analysis processes is crucial. This will ensure your Resource Consent and Liquor Licence applications are complete, adequate and implemented correctly for their required use. Necessary organisations/stakeholders could be:
• Event Organisers
• Bar, Gate and Security Staff
• Venue Managers
• Sponsors
• NZ Police
• Maori Wardens
• ACC
• City Councils
• Regional and/or District Health Boards
• District Licensing Committees
• Event medical providers
• Security Cover
• Industry Associations
• NZ Fire Service
• Public Transport Services
• Surrounding residents
• Surrounding Liquor Points of Sale (Supermarkets/Bars)
• Community groups
• Media

Happy patrons = $$$
