Only 4 more sleeps till Santa comes a visiting. We are here till Friday 0830-1700 (5pm) that is only 1 more sleep. We will be closing the depot in between Christmas and New Year’s to spend time with Family and Friends. Back on board to the public after the New Year statutory holiday. We have finally moved!!! Yes, after over a year in the making we have finally moved our depot from out at the airport to Waipapa. Our hours are still Monday at to Friday 0830-1700 and you can find us at 1913 State Highway 10. We now share the yard opposite Farm Source with NT Engineering.

Bay of Islands Gas is a growing local gas supply business. To cope with this growth and the loss of staff member, we are looking for a Driver / Gas Filler to join our team based in Kerikeri.
We are looking for someone who is a team player, has excellent customer service, problem solving skills, is really reliable, keen to work, willing to learn new skills and has a sense of humour.
The role has a variety of duties including the delivery of LPG cylinders to residential and commercial customers, filling and testing LPG cylinders, loading and unloading trucks, yard work and assisting with customer enquiries.
The successful applicant will require:
• A full driver’s licence and safe driving history.
• A Class 2 licence with a Dangerous Goods endorsement
• To be physically fit as heavy lifting is required
• To be honest and reliable
As the face of the business out in the community you would require excellent customer service skills to build relationships and promote our business out in the community. A commitment to the company’s Health and Safety Policy and compliance standards is a must. Onsite training will be provided in the handling of LPG etc and assistance can be given to maintain a current DG endorsement.
This role is 20-40 hours per week Monday to Friday and can be negotiated with the successful applicant.
The position will be subject to positive outcomes of a driving assessment, pre-employment medical and drug test and a Police check.

As you are all aware we will be in COVID Level 3. As an essential service we will still be delivering all sized cylinders normally to all our valued customers. Please ensure social distancing (kids, adults and pets alike) when our drivers are at your premises.

To ensure the safety of our staff and the community we will be opening the shop and depot for on-site filling and servicing but with strict distancing and mask use.

Hi Everyone, we have a large number and variety of different sized high pressure and LPG cylinders available. We also have a large number of usable fire extinguishers. Perhaps you could convert a cylinder into a BBQ, letterbox, smoker, brazier or air storage tank! Come in and see for yourself and make us an offer. We are at 235 Wiroa Rd, Kerikeri. Open from 8.30am till 5pm Monday to Friday.
