24 hours.

That was the window they had to pull together a harvest team and pick the grapes at exactly the right moment.

At the time, there was no award-winning Blanc de Noirs. No knowing how the wine would turn out. Just fruit at its peak, a decision to make, and very little time to make it.

Somewhere between that decision and the wine that eventually emerged is a story worth hearing.

Some wine names are carefully considered. Others seem to find you.

As the first harvest was wrapping up, a chance encounter at Auckland Art Fair introduced the inspiration for what would become the name of this wine - through a digital interpretation of *Swan Lake* and an artist whose work left a lasting impression.

It was one of those moments where the timing feels almost too perfect to ignore.

But there’s much more to this story than a name.
