Wairau Zero Waste Hub Come and pick up preloved, in need of love, and perfectly loveable items for a fraction of the retail price
Every Saturday 9am - 4pm

Retail shop open every second Saturday of each month, 9am - 1pm

Wairau and Tamaki Zero Waste Hubs, working with Auckland Council and Waste Management to divert resources from landfill and getting them to those who need them. We receive the inorganics collections across Tamaki Makaurau and make the reusable items available for various community organisations, including but not limited to social wo

rkers, men's sheds, art groups, and organisations sending containers of goods to the Pacific Islands. From August 2023, both Hubs will have a community recycling centre and shop open to the general public where you can come and pick up preloved items for the fraction of retail price. Some of our items are ready to be loved in their forever home as is, others are in need of a bit of TLC and restoration - so we're a great option if you love a project and giving things your own flair.

Look out for the signs on the driveway.

What can be donated?

🔆 We take good quality goods that can be re-sold. Think 'would I give this to a friend or family member?'

That includes -
➡ Homewares, furniture, electrical goods
➡ Clothing
➡ Toys, sporting goods, bikes

Our staff are there to make sure your donation is up to scratch (no judgement!). If items need repairing, cleaning or upcycling, we may charge a small fee after discussion with you.
