So it has taken me a day to compose myself to be able to accept that we lost the "Douglas Challenge Cup" to Jack Cleland . Not sure why Nigel Cleland is taking any credit for the victory as the best thing he did with a club all day was to snap the head off his putter. Not sure if that's the remaining part of his putter in his hand or the cane he used to guide himself around the course with.

Izak Cleaver and I will be back with vengeance to get the cup back.

Chewie Invitational 2019 in Raglan (no later than Easter or Easter weekend). Who’s keen??? Let me know and further details will be posted on the officials page.

Nigel Cleland I’m sure you will be back to defend your title.

There is still room on the famous tankard for some new names or former winners to come back into some glory?

Who is keen to attend the 2017 and 14th running of the Chewie Invitational in Pio Pio later this year? Once summer arrives a date will be set.
