A great example of the natural durability of heartwood vs sapwood in Lawson's cypress

Another thing to note is how tight the growth rings are, not many exotic softwoods grown in NZ compare to the quality of Lawson's cypress

180m of merch grade, $4.60/m
- lower grade with large tight knots, loose knots and other defects such as small cracks and insect damage. Good for a rustic look lining your shed or man cave

125m of panelling grade $6.90/m
-mid range product with tight knots no larger than one third of the face. Occasional small black knots. Good for wall and ceiling lining as well as cladding
