It’s giveaway day! 🌟 We’ve drawn and contacted this month’s Customer Loyalty winner. They get to choose something from our prize cupboard (or grab a sweet $50 credit).

Every month we do this as a small thank‑you to the customers who stick with us — we wouldn't be here without you!

When we say fibre, we mean WiFi… promise. 🛜🐑

It's not just about getting you connected, it's about keeping you connected. 🛜

We'd recently worked through a customer's WiFi issues remotely, but our checks showed they could benefit from some upgraded gear and a closer look at the setup.

So our tech headed out and:
🔧 upgraded their radio dish
📶 installed a new router
🖨️ found a printer causing WiFi interference.

A few changes later, things were looking a lot healthier.

Remote support when we can. Boots on the ground when we need to.

And not a bad view while you're working, either. 👌

Not every internet problem is an internet problem. 🐄 😬

We came across some suspicious chew marks on a cable while sorting out a customer's connection... pretty sure this little guy knows more than he's letting on. 👀

3 things you can expect on rural install day:

1. We double check your signal first - no ‘hopefully it’s good’, if it’s not great we won’t complete the install.

2. We install a dish on your roof, in line with our nearest tower.

3. Make a nice tidy cable run down into the house where a router is placed - somewhere central to where your household uses WiFi the most.

Rural homes deserve good internet, and we make sure you start with the best possible connection.

Sorting out caffeine and internet – our two favourite things. 👌 🛜

Harley (our co-owner and wearer of many hats) headed up to Auckland last week for two industry conferences — ISPANZ (Internet Service Providers Association of New Zealand) and WISPA (Wireless Internet Service Providers Association) — joining ISPs and wireless providers from across the country.

ISPANZ brought plenty of conversations about AI (not the cow kind), data centres, and the future of connectivity in NZ. It's always valuable to catch up with the wider industry and make sure rural communities like ours stay part of the conversation. And cheers to Spark for the dinner!

WISPA wrapped up the week with updates from the Commerce Commission and Radio Spectrum NZ. Lots of exciting things on the horizon once new regulations roll out, plus a few new toys from suppliers to try later. Great to catch up with other WISPs like us.

🌕 The glow of the moon over Te Kuiti early Sunday morning.

The internet doesn't sleep, and sometimes neither do we.🥴 We got a 3am alert that the internet was off at one of our main sites that also feeds 6 other sites, affecting around 100 customers.

After an hour of troubleshooting remotely, we had to make a site visit at 4:30am to fix a hardware fault and get the internet back on before your morning coffee. 😎

Texas HQ?
Nah yeah nah.
Tractor pull in the Waikato?
