"Recent trip up Rakaia / into the start of Lake Heron stream for a BBQ lunch on a very cold winters day. We started out at -5 degrees and the day didn’t get much above 5 - 6 degrees.
7 hours on the water roughly with a few stops to warm up fingers and toes and a BBQ lunch.
Used roughly 45 litres of petrol which I thought was pretty good. Did roughly 80-90 kms total distance for the day up and back."

The Huntercraft Jet Venturer 4200 enabling Charles some great access through the Canterbury rivers. Thanks for the photos Charles, it looks like you had a great week on the river and landed some nice Salmon!
