⏰ Time is nearly up to register for the Regional Business Partners Tourism fund. ⏰

You must register your business with Regional Business Partners before 31 August 2022, however will have some time after this date to work with your assigned RBP Growth Advisor to allocate funding if eligible.

All you need to do to apply for the funding is to register your business with Regional Business Partners (RBP). You will need a GST number, NZBN, and be located in the QLDC district.

We are approved RBP service providers and would love to work with our hard hit tourism industry.❣️

Price includes internet, screen to plug into and warmth. The building includes awesome parking, kitchen, toilet, and shower facilities.

PROJECT SHOWCASE: Chiro Connect

Chiro Connect is a Wanaka-based chiropractic clinic providing preventative, holistic healthcare. The new identity sets the business apart from the competition and speaks powerfully to the clinic’s natural and holistic approach to healthcare. The bold, sans-serif typeface is indicative of the confidence the business has in the benefits of chiropractic care whilst the use of lowercase letters give the brand an approachable, family-friendly aesthetic.⁠ The slight tilt of the 'e' in the logo's wordmark is suggestive of a chiropractor's manual adjustments and out-of-the-box thinking that goes against the grain of western medicine.⁠

We loved working with Kate on this project who was a dream to work with and enjoyed coming along with us on the branding journey.

PROJECT SHOWCASE: Zoop

We're so excited to finally be able to showcase this branding project! Zoop is a sustainable bodycare brand with products built to perform under the most extreme environments. ⁠Through bold, interesting photography; straight-talking, sit-up and listen copy; and playful colours we built a brand that’s led by its attitude and backed by its products.

With product packaging the main focus, the brand’s logomark is bold and commanding, designed to make a statement and stand out on the shelf. A balance of elongated hard lines and smooth curves nicely reflects the onomatopoeic nature of the word ‘Zoop’ and make it a perfect fit for giving the brand a brave presence in the bodycare marketplace.⁠

The packaging range is bright, bold and playful featuring the brand’s distinct landscape line.⁠ ⁠ This distinguishable mark has a dual meaning. Not only is it a depiction of the hills, mountains and fjords of New Zealand, it is also representative of the drips of liquid and creams from the brand’s bodycare range.⁠ The lines and containers speak to the product’s technical performance while the painted texture and handdrawn marker elements add to the brand’s authentic energy.

Specialising in beautiful, understated classics for women, children and babies, Perriam is a luxury fashion brand that embraces styles that transcend time with collections that emanate an ethos of quality over quantity. Crafted in New Zealand from the world’s finest merino wool, each Perriam piece embodies one simple intention: buy once, treasure forever.

Last year, we were delighted when the luxury fashion brand approached us to help give their brand identity a fresh face.

With a focus on creating a consistent brand presence across their printed collateral, the brief was to give their brand a fresh face and create a visual aesthetic that exuded minimalist sophistication and quality to complement the brand’s beautifully-crafted clothing.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Christina and the team on a variety of different projects and we look forward to collaborating again on her next big idea! Watch this space...

PROJECT SHOWCASE: Curls & Cakes

Curls & Cakes is a cake studio based in Wanaka which specialises in boutique, gluten-free goodies. As a start-up business, founder and chief cake designer Danni approached White Light for a simple, fun and friendly identity that was reflective of her creative cake decoration style and was a step away from any gluten-free clichés. Great cake; gluten-free. Simple as that.

The result is a bold and playful identity incorporating simplistic, hand-drawn type and illustrations that serve to highlight the handcrafted energy that goes into each cake creation and positions Danni, well-known for her curly locks, at the heart of the brand.

PROJECT SHOWCASE: Hojo

Hojo is a business experience consultancy based in New Zealand’s South Island With more than 20 years’ experience working alongside Japanese colleagues, Director Andee was always impressed by the Japanese culture’s dedication to constant improvement; a multifaceted evolution that incorporated bringing order, structure and balance to every aspect of life. The brand’s identity system captures this Japanese aesthetic of structure and balance in a clean, sophisticated and contemporary way that works for the Westernised market and sets the business apart from its competitors.

The logo lockup is made up of three blocks that stack and slot together in a dynamic, grid-like formation. These blocks are designed to move around individually, always connected to reflect the adaptability of Hojo’s business approach. This dynamic, interchangeable brandmark references the Japanese Bentobox – a structure that displays a balanced array of food groups clearly to its recipient; in the same way Hojo organises chaos within a business to allow people to clearly review what’s in front of them in order to decide on how to move forward.⁠

Andee was an absolute dream to work with. He had complete trust in our process allowing us the freedom to design with depth and resonance.
