Imagine backing down your driveway, heading to work like any other day, then suddenly hitting black ice and sliding into a ditch. That’s exactly what happened to this hardworking local.

He gave us a call and we were there fast. No one plans for moments like these, but when they happen, it’s good to know someone’s got your back.

Earlier today, our Alpine Towing Wanaka crew was called out to assist a stranded vehicle near Cromwell. The issue? A faulty alternator that left the car without charge and unable to start.

It happened again 😱
Another call 📞 Another shaken driver 🚗 Another deer 🦌

This is the second car we’ve picked up near Makarora in just a few days… both after hitting a deer.

The road out here is stunning, quiet, wild. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, life shifts. A deer. A crash. A deep breath after the shock.

The driver’s okay. Shaken, but safe. The car… well, you can see that for yourself.

To everyone driving these beautiful roads: we’re out here when things don’t go as planned. Day or night. Rain or shine.
