Scaff Consultant is seeking a qualified structural engineer to join their team full-time. This position seeks self-motivated and detail-oriented individuals to work on engineering designs for a variety of specialized scaffolding projects and temporary works around New Zealand.
Responsibilities
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications and design analysis (using CAD 2D & 3D) of specialized scaffolding including temporary roofs, sheeted scaffolding, propping, raking shores and anchors etc.
• Perform construction-related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections.
• Collaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on design and construction of projects.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or similar (diploma)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience including specific experience with structural steel and concrete structures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An understanding of Temporary Works
• A team-player with an attention to detail
Visa Requirements
• NZ citizenship or residency
Salary

• Paid monthly/fortnightly
